Monday 9/11: Introduction to Traders 7-8pm in 4-163 Join the Exec Board for an introduction to what Traders does as a club. Dinner will be provided. Tuesday 9/12: Dinner and Games with Board 7-8pm in 1-150 Come enjoy dinner with our board and get to know us! This will be a casual way for people to ask us any questions they have about our board. There will be an optional fun strategy game to participate in. Wednesday 9/13: Trading on a Live Market 8-9pm in 2-190 Try your hand at trading on our trading platform called Mangocore. Participants will watch two members of board compete in Sporcle and live-bet on the outcome. No experience is required and it'll be fun! Please bring laptops. Thursday 9/14: Coding with Traders 7-8pm in 2-190 Come find out more about what coding with Traders looks like! No experience required - we'll be talking about developing our trading platform and introduce coding a simple bot to interact with it. Please bring laptops. Friday 9/15: Networking and Resume Review with Board 8-9pm in 2-190 Come talk to board and ask us anything about our MIT experience including classes, finding internships freshman year and our experience on Traders! Optionally, get your resume reviewed by some members of board. Dinner will be provided.
We are a group of around 15 members dedicated to educating the MIT community about trading. Our events include a trading competition in the fall and company-sponsored talks throughout the year.
